CHARLES ATLAS WAS ONLY 5'10" TALL.

Okay, here's the skinny. This book is brought to you by the same people that brought you The Man, The Myth, and the Muscles. The publishing company that is, Birch Tree. So like in Birch Tree tradition the same unprofessional ism that plagued Man, Myth, Muscle the same thing applies here. Xerox copied photos, some of which are not in correct aspect ratio.Like right from the beginning the first pic has Mr. Atlas looking like he's 7 and half feet tall. Other photos along the way are too wide or too narrow. The saving grace for MMM was at least you got a very interesting captivating story to read, unfortunately you get no such option here. This is somewhat of an abridged version of the actual course. Whereas the actual course gives you 59 demonstration photos this only gives you 45. If you want to get the main gist of the course in easy to turn pages paperback then this book would be an okay option. Or if you like just to collect anything Charles Atlas related you can get it for that reason. What ever your reason just be prepared to be a little disappointed.

After 85 years this still works and works very well

This course has helped many thousands of 97 pound weaklings become mighty men for over 85 years. This course has always worked very well for me. I love it. It is simple and you can do it anywhere, anytime without equipment. Who needs a gym? Whether you`re at home, the office or traveling you will be able to develop your muscles and stay in great shape once you learn the techniques and follow the advice of Charles Atlas "The Hercules Of His Time". I even introduced this course to a skinny friend at work and after 3 weeks I was amazed how much bigger his muscles were. Hey, you can`t argue with results and Charles Atlas himself certainly was no slouch. He was twice named "The Most Perfectly Developed Man In The World". Mr. Atlas also gives good advice on nutrition, on getting enough quality sleep and having a positive attitude. Even if you have old injuries and cannot handle free weights anymore this course will be like an answer to prayer for you. You don`t have to give up on your dream of a great body, health and strength. You build muscle and strength with both body weight and dynamic tension exercises also known as "pitting-muscle-against-muscle. This is what Charles Atlas discovered while watching the Lions and Tigers when he went to the zoo as a young man. He wondered how they could by so strong and muscular without lifting weights and using equipment. He then went on to develop his "dynamic tension" system of muscle building exercises based on his discovery. It will help you build a great body and you will not miss the free weights or the gym once you get into this amazing and simple bodybuilding/fitness course. Even a person in a wheel chair can do many of the exercises in this course and improve their strength and health. Also, I have a page in facebook where you can learn these exercises for free.
